    Vacuum Lines identification

    Hello Gents

Would any of you please help me to:
    A) Identify the part in the circle and the vacuum lines and their function
    B) Tell or show with your pics how you routed them using a Wagner reverse inlet manifold

    Thank you

Well for starters you must have a CQ conversion or something because you have a vacuum-assist power brakes and those lines relate to that instead of the hydraulic pressure-based assist found on the S2, RS2 and UrS4/S6s 20V turbos. There should be a vacuum line sticker under the hood.
    RS2'd 93 UrS4 5 spd sedan
    94 UrS4 V8 6 spd manual avant

Had a look in the Bentley manual and sure enough 90's used vacuum assist. I cannot see that T piece anywhere, all i can find is the plastic one way valve and the large hose from the servo, which then connects to the intake manifold for the vacuum supply. No mention of that smaller hose.

I originally thought the small one was the HVAC vacuum supply as US spec cars had the climate control system. According to the manual that supply, and the diff lock supply are connected directly to the back of the intake manifold. Its possible the book is wrong/incomplete and it is in fact the HVAC supply. If thats the case if you follow the hose it should split at a T piece feeding the vacuum reservoir and the AC control unit.

The other possibility is California spec cars had some extra EGR crap that's also plumbed into a vacuum supply, might be something to do with that.
