Some ppl say only use the bosch one, but NTK~(NGK) make a very good lambda sensor. I fit NTK ones to my customers car and have never haed any problems with them. Cost of a universal 3 wire sensor is about £20-25. These can soldered onto the original wiring and work just fine.

I replaced my lambda 3000 km ago, also the spark plugs, wgfv, WG seal, new spark plug cables, checked for boost leaks, fuelfilter, new thermostat, cleaned maf, new airfilter, new dump valve, new vacuum hoses, cleaned ISV (the idle valve), etc.

but still has the starting problem, maybe it is the fuel pump or one of the sensors?

Can the starting problem be occured by the hall sender. I read some threads about the hall sender. Most of the time the car wont start when it is hot, mine wont start if it is cooled down. Besides that when I crank and shutt down the engine it doesnt sound right, it sounds if something is out of line/balance, the car shakes a bit.

Can the hall sender be tested easily?

          thanks

Erik, these hall sender problems are normally only ABY cars. But the 3B has a hall sender in the distributor. They will play up and not make the car start no matter how many times you crank the engine over. I suspect it may be something else IME

Yeah I think you ar right audiman. Just pickep up my injectors, a company nearby cleaned (ultrasoon)them. They said it was necessary, they replaced a lot of stuff, some things on the top side and also replaced parts on the underside, it has now a yellow plastic cap on the underside.

                  I will fit them tonight

                  nice carpet dont you thinnk

No I totally forgot to ask a sheet . When I brought the injectors he asked for what kind of car they where. He told me he had a book inwhich the official specs where written. When I picked them up he said that they where tested afterwards and that they now meet the specs. So I hope/trust that it is right now.

When i started the car this morning (freezing at the moment) it started right away, in a second. But still have to test it when it is cooled down.
