How To Find Pin Point The Boost Leek!

    Sessions greetings fellow X-Mas folks.

I have just managed to get Paul's loaner ECU in to my S2 (ABY) and although I can feel the difference, the boost leek is much worse straight away! (Understandably!) I take it the ECU is cutting out the turbo...

My question is how do I actually find the dam leek??
can I take the pipes out individually and duc them up with some dam tuff heat tape???
Some of the pipes are worse than others to get to... if it's the O-ring then i'm up a certain creek with a certain paddle..

    God speed the S2 forum
    SOLD.. :(

The "search" function should provide you with all the answers you're looking for. Pressure testing is the key.

the o ring isnt that bad to do, it helps to have two lots of hands when taking the bumper off. If you get in touch with lee he has just done a GB on pressure test bungs.

@Honahon, thats one way of doing. Just remove all the pipes and check them carefully. Replace ALL the small bore vacuum hoses as these are just as important as the big hoses. They arent very easy to get at some of them, but its worth doing.

Dont leave these sort of problems for too long as the turbo will be overspinning, which may shorten its life span.
