    3b Loom Identification

Trying to help out a friend, he isn't sure what this plug is for on the S2 3b harness:

is there a small harness to convert that to his N75 Valve?

excellent, i thought that might be the case.

On the interior part of the loom there is a second connector that is missing, it was clipped, i'm guessing it is the equivalent of this plug on the left: (the plug on the left is from a 7A 5 cylinder

I can't find a PN for the first one anywhere. Perhaps that's why I couldn't source one last time :\ Probably one to source from a breakers.

That other plug looks like it is the climate control connector - although the wires are slightly different colours... It is different on the UK cars, as they didn't get climate control....
Honda CBR 1100XX Blackbird Turbo....undergoing major changes.....
S2 Coupe... bit easier off the line...
'03 ZX12-R daily hack.... lots of nice bolt ons...

i believe it is "T10" connector that goes behind the instrument cluster on the panel back there.

So I just need to change the connector and plug in? Is that the only place it should go or does it split?

                Thanks for the help!

It doesn't split on my 3B, just from that plug, a 6" converter, into the N75.

Perhaps the additional loom piece was only there for easy replacement, because it's so close to the turbo so might perish over time.

I don't think this is right but I did find this reference to a connecting harness piece for a 3B:

Do you happen to know which wire ends up on which side of the N75? I don't want to accidentally cross them.

There are two wires going to the N75 WGFV, one power, one control. For the AAN, these two wires are:

                            1. a red switched power wire that comes from the S75 circuit breaker (the black one) above the ECU and goes to Position 1/2 on the WGFV

                            2. a yellow wire with a red stripe that comes from the ECU (or goes to the ECU, depending on your point of view) at Pin T55/33 in Position 2/2 on the connector.

For the ABY, according to Paul N.'s S2net website, the WGFV wire colours are
blue/red for the power wire in Position 1 and green/gold for the wire connected to the ECU at T55/33.

                            AAN wiring schematic (ABY similar):

Paul N. shows that round plug on page 29/57 of his ABY Wiring Rev02.pdf (not linkable sorry ) at http://s2central.net/main_frame.html. UNFORTUNATELY, he doesn't show the adapter harness between the round plug and the 2 pin Junior timer plug that should attach to the 3B N75 WGFV.
