ABY engine chucking when driving - Possible Causes ?

As per above, car has started to now chuck a bit when driving it. It pulls cleanly and the chucking is "masked" by going to WOT.

Most stuff on the car is fresh / new, so looking for any ideas as to what might be the cause.

Would be nice to cure it, as I want to get to the bottom of it's limp mode, amd also to repalce the brake servo.

Thnaks for any assitance / suggestions.

Hesitating / missing. Engine pulls fully under wot, but one can easily feel it missing as one drives. It's a bit random in any short journey.

It probably wont be much help, but whats the condition of the earth strap? Could it be loose, and engine movement on WOT is enough for good contact?

Someone once said Knock sensors when I had something similar years ago? Alternatively is it a coil or something of the like?

Check your spark plugs are done up. One may have worked loose. It wouldn't be the first time.....

                  Update to this thread:

Changed from the recommended Bosch spark plugs, ( F5DPOR ? ), to NGK spark plugs, and it's cured the "chucking" and also the over boosting and then going into limp mode for a while until the next WOT after and few minutes, and then again limp mode for the next WOT a few seconds later.

I know it might seem extraordinary, but it worked for me, so if you have any issues or want to prevent any, consider putting in the NGK BKR-7EIX iridium. The stock code is "2667".

They cost me approximately €11.00 each, not sure if that is dear or not, but worth every penny for me this time.

The white ceramic on each the Bosch spark plugs was a deep plum red colour, whatever that indicates ?

This thread made me do something about the Bosch plugs, as my engine is a fresh JP engine, but no one wants an engine to "kill" itself for the cost of a set of spark plugs.

Mcandmar, these plugs may help your engine ?

                  HTH someone.
