    Fuel Problem maybe?

    Hi,

Can anyone please tell me what the constant rate of Fueul delivery on a 1996 S2 Coupe ABY Motor should be, i have heard it is 1 litre of fuel every 27 seconds, but this sounds a bit to lame

I am getting fuel starvation at high boost and if i am cruising at 160 ish and i floor it, imediatly it stutters

Your problem sounds more like a boost leak or an ignition problem. your problem happens at 160-ish what? km/h or mph????

Surely, got to be km/h? Cruising at 160 mph! Kudos if he is.

Fuel delivery rate from pump on S2 is dependent on the voltage presented at the fuel pump terminals. Graph from Audi OFRM gives the following data, measured at return line with FPR at baseline value of 4bar (ABY).

          Volume delivered in fifteen seconds
          10V ~500cc
          12V ~650cc
          14V ~800cc

For the RS2, add 100cc to each of those values and remember that has a baseline FPR of 3.8bar.

More fuel related posts to come...

              Thanks guys,

I really apreciate the info. I will check the voltages first (so if i run a long extention cord and plug it into the house mains, how much fuel can i pump?)

and that was 160mph yeah right.
