What timing belt setup for a stroker

Great Andy. Does that idler bolt to the oil pump or the block? I know there is a place for the idler on the pump but does it actually bolt through to the block? Was it the aby belt you used on your stroker? Cheers

Why do you think drilling the block goes into the water jacket? it doesn't if you do it correctly. Mine had the ABY tensioner and belt with ABY oil pump.
The 3B oil pump is easier but gives less adjustment, pays your money takes your choice

Jamo that's what I read on the tinternet and also looked like that on first inspection. Also the material thickness there looks approximately 10mm but I can confirm that with my ultra sonic meter. I just put my fingers in where the water pump mounts and it seems where the aby tensioner would need to go would be over a water way. Not ideal but also not a show stopper. Any pictures of that area on your stroker?

Also jamo if I used the aby setup on a stroker I would need a even longer belt? What's on yours? With the 3b setup theaby belt should sstretch on the stroker...

No you don't you modify the tensioner housing so it has more movement so it can tension the ABY belt. You need to speak to Jonnyboy for pics now.

Just go 3B it's probably easier short term
