    Big Wagner IC / type 85 cars

    Hi guys, i have read people having problems fitting big IC´s inside the type 85 shells.. is that true?

    i am wondering if the big Wagner IC´s that are designed to go with the short intakes would fit into coupe quattro/ Ur quattro / sport quattro bonnet and bumpers ...

      not even sure it fits a B3 to be honest. I expect not. ill be trying but I feel it may require an s2 bumper or equivalent size space.

          from what I understand the standard Wagner IC for the reverse IM does not fit in an ur (that's why Bram sold his IC to me )

                  I have a type 85 90 quattro and tried the RS2 IC that I have. It was a no goer with the amount of work needed to chop the front panel, bumper, and mods to the end tanks of the IC. I think you would have the same outcome with a Ur. I opted for a custom made IC. I'll post up some pictures when it has been installed.
