RS2 throttle damper

    Its M5 or M6 from memory... Maybe just order some new ones from Audi or VAGparts to be sure. They'll be cheap enough.

    The old ones are so soft that you could probably sacrifice a larger Torx head (or small socket) to bite the bolts for removal. Failing that you are probably looking at some *very careful drilling* and an 'easy out'.

      Thats the thing, been talking to Ben and he has confirmed that you cant buy them seperately from the Throttle Body. Twisted Audi thinking.

          I have had my throttle body damper disconnected. It might be exagerrated on my car as I have 1 metre of hose between the ISV and TB but on sudden full lift off you get hunting revs at idle for a couple of seconds. The damper just slows that last part of travel down to give the ISV time to react.

          I have replaced my bolts with stanless socket head M5 (either m4, 5 or 6 as that is all I had).
          S2,RS2,S4 WB,RS4,S4 B8,RS6 C5,RS6 C6,R8
