huge misfire

Had an intermittent misfire for a while now, seems random.

New plugs and no boost leaks.

Bought a loom for the coilpack upgrade but not fitted yet (awaiting the coils).

Anyhow, lost the plot and floored it the other day, 5k in third and bang! Huge misfire,
Looked in the mirror to see this huge ball of smoke in the mirror..backed right off thinking
terminal damage.

However.. .3 days on and now runs better than ever, rock solid idle, oil pressure perfect. No misfire. No smoke on idle. Etc.

Thoughts/diagnosis?

Not really sure without having a look. If you need a hand with anything then I'm only just up the road in Llangaffo.

Yours certainly looks clean when I've seen it going past. I've passed you a few times in the morning but i'm normally in the work van, I rarely use the s2 in the week.
