Wastegate Actuator How many turns????

Hi guys
Happy New Year
Can someone tell me how many turns the top allen screw in the wastegate should be from fully tight? I know it has been messed about with previously and want to ensure it is correct now I am assuming that undoing screw lowers opening boost pressure and tightening screw increases the point at which boost opens the wastegate? Is this correct or am I full of poo this afternoon

Karl, check the threads under "engine and turbo" - this has been (done to death) discussed in detail. Happy new year tinkering, James.

AFIAK the best way is to disconnect the WGFV and then adjust the spring until you get a max of 0.4 bar boost when driving. Then reconnect the WGFV.

Although I am prepared to be corrected!

OK. Found the threads from 2003. However, given my impending upgrade parts, Mihnea, do I need to adjust the allen key to a different point
