Has anyone tried Shell Helix Ultra 10W-60 engine oil?
I think its new on the market. Fully synthetic and availiable in 5L containers I believe.
Another potential oil choice.
Not sure how much yet, but if Shell petrol stations carry it, it will probably cheaper than the Castrol what with the lack of postage costs.
Remains to be seen, anyone filling up with Optimax today check out the oils spec/price!
Just had some put in my RS2 at last oil change service just before Xmas. The garage I use had just gone over to it from Castrol RS. Was charged about £78 for the service including oil, filter & labour etc.

I have used Helix RS to get me out of a fix, when i had lost oil through a turbo pipe not being tight enough, and it was fine. Cannot see a problem with using it full time as shell are one of the best research and developers with reguards oils. It should be good.

The shell helix i used was fully synthetic but i bought a 1 litre tub as i was low. But if it comes in 5 Litre tubs then i will have to try it in the coming few months when my service is due.
