    Turbo choices?

Soon i'm going to rebuild/swap my tired AAN.it has some problem
about the worn valve guides and burning oil.I'm running the GT2871
A/R .63 for years.i was so happy of the power level upgraded from
Stock k24.as you guys know power is something never enough.i'm starting
to think about the bigger power level.what is the turbo which can give
Some extra HP whilst still spool up nicely like 2871?i'm not a drag fans.
This car is mainly for DD and street racing occasionally.i would love to keep
my wagner 'em k26 flange.so what is the turbo i would start to look for?
I have not had my power goal yet since i never thought about upgrading
It before until the time has come for my engine.please chime me in.

I'd leave the turbo alone, or go maybe a 3071. Not many turbos are going to give the same spool and more bhp as you already have a BB turbo

Any bigger than 3071 and you'll sacrifice spool for power.

Presently,my 2871 full boost by 3000-3200RPM.I know there must be something wrong on my engine since I remember the 2871 should be full boost
much more quicker.I have 1,9 bar WG spring and screw it down for 5-8turns.I have had the Electronic boost controller
(Greddy E-01) and set it to fullly shut the wastegate to make the quickest spooling time on my Turbo was still no luck.In case going for some bigger turbo and still full boost by 3500RPM.Personally,I think it's acceptable.I can live with that. The 2871 is out of breath somewhere over 5-5.5K RPM.
I would like the turbo kicking out until 7K RPM.That being said,I never had upgrading idea on my turbo since i purchased the 2871 as new few years ago.
I thought that's satisfied for DD but when the time has come over.you would need some bigger smile.I've seen a lot of folks going for Precision Turbo.
        Any ideas on this?Thanks.

          Pop,

You could go with a Billet K26 from Iroz (hank).

Many people have said 350whp is safely achievable on pump fuel (98ron) and it will pull hard all the way to redline.

They are $800ish brand new. You could probably sell your Garrett for that
