Oil pressure problems on hard launch.

    Hello!

Did some tests today for the local drag event next Sunday. After some tweaks on the launch control settings (VEMS) the car did 0-100 in 3.3sec .

But after a launch the lifters are ticking like hell .

Really like to have this sorted before next Sunday. So i think i have 2 options.

1Accusump. If i can get one quick enough i think is a good solution. Any one has any experience with a Accusump? What is the best way to fit it? Just weld a AN10 on the oil filter housing bolt?

2Sump baffle. Also a good solution. Has anyone have a good disign? I don't have a lot off time to test it so a good proven disign would be great!

OE oil pump,Temp sender and pressure relief valve info

What oil pressure are you getting

    a) at warm/hot idle? Should be 2 Bar.

    b) at running RPMs, e.g. 3000 RPM? Should be almost 5 Bar.

Less that those, your oil pump might be Fubar'd or your oil is too thin or you are frothing it because you don't have a windage tray.

      Accusump works great
Fitting on filter housing bolt does the job.

Hy thanks for your information. Oil pressure is perfect and running 5W50 kendall oil.
And i have a new windage tray in my engine. Engine has run 3500miles now with all new parts. (i must admit my oil pump is still the original one off the car and has run around 170k miles if its never replaced.

Today i lowered the limiter from 8000 to 7250rpm and filed the engine around 7mm above max. oil level. And placed a camera on my oil pressure gauge because is a little hard to watch it and drive at the same time

As you can see there is still a little pressure drop. Don't know if i have to worry about it or not? I think i will try a accusump.
