I'm doing a conversion to a coupe originally fitted with a 7A 20v motor, using a 3B motor. I've also got a set of lower mileage AAN injectors that I'd like to consider using on the 3B.
Anyone done this or similar? I've got two ECUs, stock and a chipped (IA Stage 3+) on a mostly stock car otherwise. I'll also have the stock 7A Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR). The 3B uses a 3 bar FPR, the AAN a 4 bar FPR, and I'm not certain of the 7A (4.2 bar?). If it is 4.2 bar, I'd think the ECU could compensate for the slightly increased fuel flow using fuel trim.
I've also got the AAN intake and might consider replacing the 3B inlet as the intake path is shorter, but the radiator is in the way. Not sure if I can safely lower the radiator far enough...
Thanks for any BTDT.
