    ABY Oil Capacity

    Just a quickie I'm doing an oil change and need to know:

    What's the oil capacity of a '94 ABY engine? With and without filter change if possible.

      About 5 litres. Are you thinkng of not changing the filter then??

          Officially 4.5 with filter so 5 is way too much.

          I have been recommended not to fill oil to the top mark as a bit less should prevent oil in breather system.

              But if he buys 5 litres then there is some for top up if needed. Some makers of oil only do 4 litres packs
