hi nothing in regulattions regarding CR at club and national level [ just for the current homolagated cars] if i go for 10.5 pistons its the clearances to valves ive got to work out . what CR do the normaly aspirated 20vs run, that may give us a bit of a guide. we have just checked the cylinder head , no cracks, just gave it a clean up very light skim . we cc the head valve pockets with valves fitted , they are all 45cc. not sure what standard s2 is

head CCs sounds right. IIRC 7A is 10.5:1 or thereabouts.

Don't forget the effective "dynamic" CR is very different to static measured and boost and intake valve closing will have a big effect
