valve stem oil seals ! your knowledge req !

    Hello chaps

After changing the psv !?!(oil breather) valve. I am still getting blui-ish smoke and oily smell on start up in the morning. so I think it must be valve stem seals. anything else worth checking ?!? or should I book it into the garage now ?

How long does this job take ?

I could be wrong here but within your profile it states that your car has done less than 60k, I would guess maybe too low a mileage to suffer from vsos problems, Have you looked at the turbo and the condition of your lambda ?, just in case you've got a leaky turbo, if it's leaking badly enough you'll see the oil in the exhaust pipe indicating it's not even getting burned just thrown back down the exhaust, I had the turbo on the Nothelle (essentially an RS2 unit go at less than 20k so may be worth a try !!)

Sure it's worth checking , disconnect a few things up top , and start it up, on mine you could see the oil creeping out the turbo and a very oily lamda and doesn't take too long to do
