Hi all,
During the winter time in the Netherlands we alway have unstable temperatures, it varies from -5 till 12 degrees. When I drive the car I can really feel a big difference between the temps. Ofcourse I know that with cooler wether the car will be more powerfull, because cooler air has less volume. But I dont think this difference can only be caused by the difference in temp, besides the power difference the car also sound different. In cooler situations it sounds must smoother. Can this maybe be caused by the temp.sensor in the intake manifold, i read that when it fails it gives a signal to the ECU that the intake air is 40 degrees. I dont know what normall intake temps are, but when i see the metal pressure pipe laying on the engine, i dont think the air will be less then 40 degrees.
thanks again,
Erik
