A few folks on here have fitted larger oil coolers in the OE location, see if you can find a thread with a good example so you can see whats involved. If the Aux rad is done away with then that makes a better location but I'd want to keep that where you are.

My 13 row setup cost me about £130 using fancy AN fittings and braided pipe, can be done for a lot less if you not so fussed about appearance. Cheaper than a brand new OE cooler and pipes and way more efficient.

As your going RS2 spec and your in a pretty hot country I think I'd go for at least a 13 row aftermarket cooler located in the OE position. I take it you still have the Aux rad?

It looks a bit..on the ugly side

While I'm in the process of making a new turbo I guess it's not a bad idea to get a new oil cooler and clean out the oil lines as well

Intake cam is the same (AAN, ABY and ADU). ADU exhaust cam is different.

ADU Exhaust cam sprocket with G40 Cam Sensor shutter is different if you are *REALLY* ocd.

AAN/ABY "105" exhaust cam sprocket and shutter wheel:

ADU "105B" exhaust cam sprocket and shutter wheel:

And then there is the cam timing:

I think RS2 FPR 3.8 Bar or something strange?? Anyway it won't matter if the car is being remapped, only if you want to use the stock RS2 chips in the ECU. In fact if you're remapping you could just use the ABY ECU you already have with a new MAP sensor and the right chipset/mapping.

    Edited to remove confusion

Loads of maintenance you can do at the same time...
Sounds good, will see what is the limit on RS2 injectors and fuel pump, I'm hoping to have it done sometime before summer

If you're running stock S2 brakes you should consider at least RS2 brakes... Safety first!
I am running 996 calipers with 304mm discs if I recall, just replaced front discs and a new set of Ferrodo DS2500 pads, awesome
