    Factory AAN Oil Recommendations

Someone wanted this on my home forum so I dug out an manual and posted this info:

The manual for the 95 UrS6 suggests the following:

For air temps from -30C to +40C

    Synthetics: 5W30, 5W40, 10W30, and 10W40

    Dino: 5W50, 10W50, 10W60

For air temps between +15C and -30C

    Dino: 5W30 and 5W40

For air temps between +15C and -17.5C

    Dino: 10W30 and 10W40

For air temps between -15C and 40C (and more)

    Dino: 15W/40, 15W50, 20W40 and 20W/50

Here in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada, where -10C is very cold (and thankfully rare), I run 20W/50 dino year round (and have since 1998).

I have found the amsoil European formula to be a good match, if you can find a distributor there. I am only running it in uk at -5 to 30c though. If you want to get oil temps down recommend pulling the right grill and cleaning the oil cooler it will most likely be blocked solid if never done before makes a big difference at sustained high speeds.
