Mine is more like a true anti-lag as it works just like what you find in standalone ECU's. There is a disclaimer in there that describes what harm it can cause if you read a little closer. If it so horrible why is everyone with a VEMS ECU using this same feature? If you would have read closer there is a disclaimer in there specifies what it can do to damage an engine, turbo, manifold etc. so why get down on me for contributing to the forum a little? Are you one of these haters that boxes up all of the motronic info and takes it to the grave?

I'm not being down on you and not 'one of those haters' as you say, just making a comment that's all, comments don't always have to be positive, nothing personal,
Sorry if I upset you, but is is the season to be pissed off after all
and I was very very drunk at the time

I think it's great what you have done and how you have documented it.
What we really need to do is all get our heads together and actually write the software GUI to allow anyone to tune their 20 odd year old Motronic ECU's so that it appears like VEMS for example to make it more user friendly than working with hex.

Thanks man! i've thought about some sort of software too. i stumbled on a piece of open source software thats the volvo motronic guys created. its for motronic 4.3 and 4.4 but hey is open source so i figured it could be modified to tune other versions on motronic too. sadly the site that had it is no longer up that hosted it.I think it's great what you have done and how you have documented it.

here is a link to the site that hosted it, you might be able to use waybackmachine.org to view the site still.
The program was simply called motronic.msi. if you google that file name you should be able to find someone still hosting it out there somewhere."The really good drivers got the bugs on the side windows." Walter RöhrlComment
