There is many places under the bonnet that needs heat protection. I have used cheap ebay wrap on my exhaust mani and it seems to work well. But I would like to protect some hoses, wastegate water feed and turbo oil feed, and also the fuelpipes that are fitted to the firewall behind the turbo. Have anyone tried this kind of self-adhesive heat protect tape? That would be easy to fit...

THIS STUFF is also very good and can be bought in different sizes. It expands quite a bit so can be fit over pipes and tubes of different sizes.
Ok, these seems to be reasonable priced. Hmm, what size do I need to get it over AN4 fittings? The hose itself has quite narrow diameter, ~10mm.

The 25mm stuff I have will expand out to around thirty odd mm but it can be quite tricky to work with as it always wants to shrink back down to around 25mm. I imagine you would be able to get the 6mm stuff to go over the 10mm hose for a tight fit, but the 10mm will definitely go over. It is quite stiff stuff and it looks pretty too.
Ok, have to measure the diiameter of the fittings. I have them pressed on the hoses.
