I'm new to all this but Does anybody know which address the idle maps start because i like to change the injector pulse time on tick over.aby set up the car is running rich on warm up also.

Lol - good luck with that. But you are looking at it the wrong way. When ecu is in closed loop mode - idling and part throttle - then it tries to run around 14.7 afr. With cold idle it will run richer of course. If the ecu cannot adapt to correct mixture then lambda control is bad - either due to MAF or fuel pressure if running factory injectors. Actually an air leak will also give you mixture problems too of course - MAF measures X amount of air in while (X - leak) actually gets into the engine and something more than X/14.7 g of fuel gets injected - hence rich.

Plug in vag com on a warm idle and tell me what group 0 looks like in measuring blocks. Then I can see how adaptation is behaving.

I don't get group 0 on vag com i can only get group 1 onwards i'll have another look tomorrow night.

Group 0 deffo works on vagcom with ABY - 100% - unless you have a shady / hack version. The other groups will report lambda values too but group 0 is best for this. Are you looking at basic settings or measuring blocks ?

I started with a 7a and decompressioned it used a k26 ur turbo then set up using a 3b ecu now i've changed to coil packs an a aby set up,but still i'm getting the same problem,over fueling on warm up,but if i change the temp input and think the engine is warmer than it is it runs right?

I bet you are running 4bar FPR from 7A engine.

What FPR and injectors are you running with ABY ecu ?

3bar fpr and s2 green injectors 286cc i think with out looking.

That is what is wrong then. The stock ABY software needs 4bar FPR and ABY "4-hole" injectors - they are 292cc from memory. Should be loads available 2nd hand with folk upgraded to RS2 injector.

Alternatively I could probably do you a tweaked chipset that caters for your setup but the ABY injectors are a better way to go.

The best source of 4bar fpr for the 3B style fuel rail is from the 7A engine.

I've got a 4bar fpr for the system but that puts more fuel it the fire?

Not with aby injectors - they actually flow less at 3bar compared to 3b injectors but ABY has better spray pattern.

The injectors are the 4 hole type.i can tell you tonight when i get home.thay could be from a aan set up with, i got with the manifold.

I've checked the injectors 0280150951 green i've tryed vagcom i seem to have vcds-lite the free version so i don't get groups 000.i've started the car tonight the car runs very rich until the temp rises to 63.5c and the lambda takes over to about 0.945
