Hello guys,i was thinking abouth power upgrade for some time..

Is it more economical to buy a alrdy done set up with engine and evrything or instead to do my own project on urs4?

What u think abouth that?

Power you want is ok with stock engine if it is all ok(bores,ring gap,bearing gap,head,valve guides,seals,coils etc).So will be cheap yes compared to prep engine that eats 6-7k with clutch,new intake ducting etc for medium 600hp power.

Mapping will be your last problem.Get a power target and a budget.The lowest budget over stock will be stock engine rs2 manifold,injectors,turbo or replica manifold,k247400 turbo etc.But you need a healthy engine.Open it,replace valve guides seals(usualy they are bad at this age).Check bore(not eye check),ring gap,bearings.
Put new all gaskets,seals.Coil conversion,measure fuel pressure at wot high rpm(usualy fuel pump are weak).Get equipment for loging,contact our soft maester,get eproms,eprom eraser/burner and you are done.

Or:upgrade internals,get biger turbo etc and mapping the same.Mapping is not a problem.Engine healthy is,or budget for full stock/upgraded rebuild is.

Thrust me,my bigest problem is maping,the nearest person who can do that is 1000km from me...

So you do not trust the man that made 2.3.2 motronic capable of lots of things,or you do not understand that you get a starting map,get logs,send on email,get new sw,burn eproms,log again,send on email,get new sw and so on untill you get 90%out of your setup?Anyway,not my problem.But:if you get the budget for all hardware you will find little to get the man in your town and map your car if you want 100%of it.If build budget will be 3-4-6-9k then for 1k or little more you can get any tuner you want for 1day.

what you need is a good engine,big enough turbo,fuel,and PRJ chips.

that way is the easiest and cheapest
