Boost Hoses - What is the best

    Hi

Just had cambelt, water pump and aux belts etc done today and will be having the S2 serviced in a month or so when winter goes away and I start thinking about using the car again. Whilst sorting out some new tyres and front discs I thought it would be a good idea to get all the boost hoses renewed with new clips and would like to know what the best product is for doing this job. I see there is a GB being sorted out by S2 Central but I think that might be a little too late for me and I was wondering what is best out of Roose or Samco hoses or if there is a better solution out there. Within reason money is not an obstacle to a consistently boosting turbo/engine, so can people advise what is the best item to use.

    Thanks

Personally I'd go for the Roose kit, the Samco's are very good but don't look or feel quite as good as quality.

I'm using Roose and I don't have nothing to complain.

I have a full engine bay of Samco hoses and they are fine as youw ould expect. I think its down to personal taste and availability tbh.

I went with black Roose ones without the brand printed on. They have been fit and forget.

            Great performance, with OEM look.

Roose it is then. They do two types of black hose. One if OEM Matt black and is more costly than the other black which looks more glossy. I am assuming the glossy hoses come with the writing on. Dont really care as long as the quality is the same. My car is hardly standard what with uprated exhausts, turbos, IC, wheels etc etc, so keep it standard is hardly my aim. Must say I am not keen on the garish lime green though ha ha. Each to their own I guess.

Steve, are your writing/brand free hoses the OE option or do the standard gloss black come without writing also?

Roose are great you can ask for the standard glossy black without the branding and they will happily do that for no additional charge.

They are a gloss finish but they aren't blingy.
