Advice needed - Reconditioned turbo - Where is good?

As mentioned in a previous thread, I am pretty sure my K26 Hybrid is on the way out. Just started making a quietish dentist drill whirring like noise, so I am assuming the bearing is shot or there is play somewhere causing it to fail and make this noise.

It does not appear to be smoking and I will not drive it until it is fixed although it is booked in for brakes and aux rad in a couple of weeks. I need to drive it about 4miles to the mechanic. Will it be ok to do this journey at snails pace without going anywhere near boost?

What is the best company to send it to for reconditioning. Hoping I dont need to buy a whole new unit and thought I would check with you guys to see where a good place to send it would be. Have a found a few places online but I am sure many of you must have had similar issues.

    Thank

    Andrew

Cheers guys, I will give them all a call tomorrow to see what the turn around time is on this type of work as I am not sure how long I can leave a non running car at the mechanics.

Would you suggest the car will be ok to drive once the short distance (4miles) to mechanics without going near boost without doing significant further damage to the charger or should I not drive it at all?
