Audi S2 Coolant Gauge Saga Goes On!!

Checked all bits i was told to do but still no joy with Coolant Gauge being Dead!!
MFTS OK, Changed all connectors to MFTS , Tried another Coolant Gauge, Tried another Voltage Stabiliser ( Behind Gauges ) What else could it be??? Before this happened, the Coolant Gauge had been giving inconsistent readings and not the same every time.
    Any help will be appreciated.

Would that be the Brown striped wire going to T on the MFTS and follow it to the gauge??

had the same problem as you.
take out the speedo and you need to repair the conection or the legs or a new one must be installed.

Hey, fitted a voltage stabiliser today and the instument cluster fuel gauge just kept going higher?? So i am summising, its no good for my dash?? or is this high lighting another problem here?? Had the cluster stripped today and no dry solder joints to be found, did continuity tests on gauges, Circuit board and wiring and all seems ok??
I am no auto electrician but usually get things sorted eventually, but this time, i am struggling with this one!! Anything else this could be now??
