Audi 90 with ABY NO START

HI Guys wondering if you can help

I have used S2 centrals guide on no starting but still having no luck

I replaced the gearbox on my 90 5 cylinder I removed the engine to do this as I don't have access to a ramp

I am getting spark to all 5 plugs have tested this visually with a set of plugs grounded to the head

my fuel pump relay is not activation on crank
I have checked voltage at the injector plugs and all have 12v when keyed on via ign switch

and I have checked the resistance of the speed sensor which is at 982ohms

I have also manual activated the relay and in pumps fuel and pressures up in the rail

im currently charging the battery in case it isn't spinning over at the requires 23 rpm

    many thanks

    Dan

also on a side not my clutch does not seem to disengage the clutch pack until right at the bottom of its travel have bled the slave cylinder so any help with this little problem too would be greatly appreciated.

p.s. this was a running driving car before the gearbox swap was done

Have you checked the hall sensor? ECU needs that signal to activate the fuel pump relay

ill check that now I thought it only needed hall sensor to get spark

any other ways to test apart from just an ohms test?

Use an LED to blink test the output on cranking

have just done a slightly diferent test to test the signal voltage and I can confirm that the hall sensor appears to be working as it should

just a quick one I have just checked the fuses under the little red panel that says motor motuer and the 5 amp is blown on the right-hand side should this be a 5 amp and what do these two fuses control

Yeah, sounds to me in that case that your ECU fuse is blown - 5A is not the right rating for any of the engine fuses!
It needs replacing - the two "motor" fuses should be in S27 & S28 but might not be in the right place if is an engine swap - use the holder colour to identify them.

Regardless of position, 5A is not the right fuse for any of them!

ABY engine fuses should be as follows:

              S24 - blue holder - 10A (ISV, WGFV)
              S25 - red holder - 10A (lambda)
              S27 - brown holder - 20A (ECU)
              S28 - white holder - 15A (injectors)
              S32 - purple holder - 20A (coilpacks)
