    20v turbo valves - supplier?

I'm in the process of rebuilding a 20v head (n/a converted to turbo) and I'd assumed that REC would do the valves, but apparently not, not enough demand.

I can stick with stock valves, and in any case I would probably stick to stock diameter or only slightly larger due to the cracking issues (and the pistons already pocketted for stock valve sizes), BUT, anybody know of an aftermarket supplier of waisted stem/smaller stem valves, guides, retainers etc?

7mm stem wasted on intake and back cut and 7mm inconel on exhaust normally buy them from supertech can come in stock or +0.5mm . Or if on a budget you can swirl polish and back cut a good set of second hand OEM ones. Not much in it flow wise when I've tested them back to back on cust heads.

They're same as 7A valves not sodium filled no good for turbo use.

Used them on a supercharged vr under cust request and the heads of the valves bend from the heat

Cheers for that, will speak to supertech. Re. the stock valves, I can buy them new from Audi, they list them as the turbo ones, just got me wondering whether they are actually sodium filled? VAGcat lists the same part number for turbo and non-turbo valves, 027109611B.............

ok...looking further into it, supertech list the same valves for the vw 1.8/2.0 4 cyl 16v and the 20v.......now I knew they were similar but if they are interchangeable (in terms of aftermarket, performance valves not stock obviously) then REC do do them......
