Rs2 turbo with billet wheel

Can someone explain the diff between a billet wheel turbo and a normal one plse I'm thinking of upgrading to Rs2 spec and have seen the oroz Rs2 one for a decent price.

Billet refers to it being machined from a block of metal rather than cast. In general, blocks of metal are stronger than cast items, for various reasons and so can be made lighter with no effect on strength. Lighter wheel = less inertia = faster spool up. The design of the wheel and also be changed from the OE application to alter the spool and boost characteristics further.

I spoke to Will @ VRS who mentioned this has to be mapped for however as the characteristics of the turbo are different to a normal RS2
