I have a spare sump and was thinking of getting it upgraded. Any recommendations & £?

Baz did a nice DIY job on the S2 Golf with control flaps, and JP also did a nice job on his build. If you can fabricate the baffles etc yourself I imagine you can get someone to weld it pretty cheaply, or you can bolt through the existing "baffles" to fix it. If you weld it (I would
) make sure you blast the sump first to scour out all the pores in the ally or it won't like being welded
