Help needed. Speedo & Oil Preesure

All help needed please. Thanks in advance for all info.

So i've removed the dash to do a heater matrix and whilst the dash was out i've had a full CAT1 alarm fitted.

Now that the car is back together the speedo doesn't work and the oil light and buzzer comes on at approx 2500 rpm. Everything else works on the dash, car has plenty of oil in it, oil pressure gauge reads 5 when driving. It only has a 0513 fault code which is engine speed sensor and rev counter works fine.

I'm pretty certain it's electrical, a duff speedo I can cope with for a short while but the oil light is very off putting.

    Anyone got any ideas?

Sounds like one of the plugs at the dash cluster, fuse board or aux relay panel is not connected properly - I'd check all over first

Checked back of dash panel, all looked ok. Any clues where else to look? You reckon electrical, what should oil pressure gauge read normally?

Should read around 2 on idle and 4-5 on throttle.

Here is another question. Anyone know if you cans till get the little red caps for the dash bulbs? Mine were knackered and new white bulbs bleed a bit. I can see everything but it doesn't quite look right.

I took the clocks out and squirted electrical contact cleaner all over anything metal, worked the plugs in and out a few times and that solved the issue with the oil pressure warning.

Sounds like it may fix the speedo as well.

Fingers crossed. Was working a treat before it all came out.

I've had it all out, squirted with contact cleaner and wiggled back in. Still no speedo. Any ideas?
