Meth Injection Thread

Hi guys, I have not yet toyed with Meth Injection on my own cars and I feel now is the time to begin playing....

So to start off can we discus what people suggest as a good kit to go for and also can we have a thread full of photo's of people's installs. So I can get some ideas....

A good kit is Aquamist hs-3,easy to install is what I heard.

Simply the best, that's all you need to know
I am a dealer, so I am a bit biased...

But on the upsides - it's made in UK and shipped from UK so you don't get stupid stuff with customs.
Richard is GREAT at answering any questions you might ever have and he does it extremely quickly - basically the support is great.

As for the kit itself:
* Metal compression fittings, which stay in place, not push-to-connect fittings that leak
* Very adjustable controller that injects progressively with injector duty cycle, so you do not get rich "holes" and stuttery power delivery, where mixture goes too rich for a moment. Even if mapping, without IDC tracking you will get a rich spot in every gear at a different place if it's single stage or dual stage boost triggered.
* Gauge with flow sensor and flow based failsafe.
* PWM solenoid that controls the meth flow rate.

If you were in the US it might be worth it pricing up alternatives, such as AEM's kit + failsafe or some other option. But since you are in the UK there is simply no competitor that comes anywhere close to the HFS-3 in function, price and reliability.

For 2.2T run dual 1.0mm jets and map for it aggressively, make sure to have the failsafe tied in though.

How much extra BHP are we talking - 50 - 80 per squirt?

It will make a percentage power increases so the more you have the more you will get,
prj will confirm amounts but I think it's ~20% gain.

I agree, aquamist HFS-3 kits are the best kit out of all the ones I have fitted. They are not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for.

Power increase obviously depends on individual setup and meth content etc etc. Cars with higher intake temps will see better results with water meth fitted.
