Yesterday my 90 20v started to knock on cylinder 4 and 5, disconnecting injector 4 or 5 separately and the knock goes away, same if do this with the plug leads.
Tried to move the injectors about but still there, what puzzles me is why disconnecting one cylinder stops the knock...
looking at it logically, as you removed the leads and the injectors on the cylinders in question the knock has gone because the combustion process has stopped hence the load on the bearings on cylinders 4 and 5. Just a suggestion

99 2.8 final edition Cabriolet
But it goes away with 1,2,3,4 or 1,2,3,5 connected it's only with 1,2,3,4 and 5 connected it occurs. I was thinking it could be the head gasket between 4 and 5 but would still show up with one or the other of 4 or 5 connected and it doesn't. The noise is like ignition knock rather than a bearing but I may be wrong
With the injectors for 4 and 5 disconnected it drives with pity the knock and with them connected it knocks and doesn't run on them. I'm thinking removing the plugs and disconnecting the injectors to get gone
