That is one of several style tags that were used on K24-7200s (the RS2 turbo). See examples below

K24-7000 (3B,AAN and ABY turbo) and K24-7200 (RS2 ADU) turbo info here:

http://forums.quattroworld.com/s4s6/msgs/211339.phtml (which soon will have your photo included in it) :

And these Borg-Warner K24-7200 spec clones:

        Okey

        Thanks for a great reply
I was just about to install my rebuildt AAN engine when i found out that it was an RS2-turbo i had. Can i run in my new engine with this turbo? The only changes in ECU is Revo 303hk chip. I mean can i run this turbo instead of my original K24-7000 make my engine go bad or is it just an improvement even without any more Rs2 parts?
This turbo is in much better kondition than my original K24-7000 standard turbo.

          I would:
          - fit RS2 injectors
          - decent fuel pump
          - RS2 fuel pressure regulator (might not be neccessary)
          - RS2 exhaust manifold
          - 2,75 or 3'' downpipe

And of course use this turbo and get a decent remap

            Alright

But can this damage my engine if i run with this setup without remap.

It's not a good idea as your ECU is not mapped for the RS2 turbo and the other parts are not up to RS2 power anyway.

Will it damage your engine? I think it might.

Ok, engine will stand up for the power. Bottom end are buildt for about 7-800hp. But i understand that i need a remap if i will run this setup.

What are you talking about? I have been driving my RS2'd AAN (with stock internals) since 2004 on MRC Stage 3 software (around 360 crank hp with RS2 injectors) and there is no issues whatsoever.

All that said, I don't know what hardware the SMS Revo 303 hp chip set is based on and therefore, a good remap with the RS2 turbo and suitably large injectors is wise.

Fuel pressure regulator can stay a 4 Bar if the remap is done accordingly.

                    Hi,
SMS 303hp map is written for S2/S4 stock hardware, but special SMS turbo.
The turbo was little bigger than S2/S4 K24/7000 turbo, and very similar to RS2 K24/7200 turbo- as far as I know, it's nearly same compressor side, but different exhaust side.
In fact, your 303hp software is too much for your stock turbo. K24/7000 won't even do 300hp, and especially SMS revo's are well known for having more power than paper says, so the software will kill your stock turbo over the time by pushing it at limits all the time.
But it should work with RS2 turbo. It's not the optimum, because your RS2 turbo can do more power, but power will increase compared to stock AAN turbo, without other changes, and no danger for motor.

                      Good for you.

The same as what you are talking about Dave, read my other post

RS2 power with AAN EM is no good AFAIK, without RS2 injectors or bigger same story. What if the injectors are up to the job but the pump is not, go figure. And when going for a standard remap it could be useful to have the right fuel pressure regulator in there.

It sounded like you were talking about internals needing upgrading which I would disagree on at up to RS2 levels. I agree about the EM needing to be RS2 or Wagner RS2 EVO. Injectors need upgrading to match output of the turbo. Stock 091G fuel pump is adequate (just) for RS2 levels on an AAN or ABY. Stock AAN 4 Bar pressure regulator is fine as long as the remapping takes it into account.

Exhaust manifold are changed to rs2 replica. So the things i need for runnning with this turbo is rs2 injectors and remap.

I just edited my upper post a bit for better understanding... :-)

Only RS injectors and remap I wouldn't do- remapped RS2's have around 350-360hp, but with RS2 intercooler, camshafts and bigger exhaust. So without that stuff, power gains will not be that big, and buying new injectors and remapping it would be spending to much money for "not that much" gains :-) but that's only my opinion...

You guys are really optimistic giving advice without having experience.

If you fit this 303 software and you run it with RS2 turbo and stock injectors, you will likely melt your engine if you go to higher speeds.

This is because AFR will be 13+ on full boost, towars the end. And it does not matter if you have forged internals or not, they will melt just the same.

@OP, if you want it running correctly let me know ...
Just need some injectors and a 044 pump - I would avoid RS2 injectors personally.
Exhaust needs to be done on an S2 but S4/S6 exhaust is fine up to 400hp from factory with a decat. Camshafts are an irrelevant difference, anyone who has ever looked at their profile will tell you that.
Software I can sort out, as always.
