What exacly is anti lag?

Can someone try to explain me what is anti lag?What are the benefits and what are the bad sides of it?
I belive it will help to many here

A method of maintaining the turbine speed when the engine is not producing enough exhaust gas pressure to achieve it, a kind of controlled "missfire" if you like. It reduces or eliminates lag / boost response as the turbine never really slows down.
It's brutal on engine & turbo and IMHO only fools & madmen run it on non-competition cars.

Anti lag is lethal and better left alone unless racing and have sponsors with deep, deep pockets

self funded guys can play with that quite easily..... dont have to be sponsored.

but it is the method to build boost while not producing the proper LOAD on the engine, for launching under boost. at least for me

myself, we use a fairly aggressive cut. you can cut fuel and ignition, or just ignition. mine leaves the fuel which makes the very loud noise and huge fireballs.

here is a friend of mine who thought he possessed the intestinal fortitude to withstand such power display. he did not, and needless to say he ran like a girl. excuse his French haha

i know you have launch control and anti lag control so is it correct if I say that:
-launch control is when car stands still,building boost round 4000 rpm (change ignition -time) and then accerelate with the car
-anti lag control is when during shifting the turbo remains in motion by ignition changes

please correct me if i'm wrong

Yep, both work by igniting the mixture while the exhaust valves are open. High EGTs are the risk.
