ok. i think it's time to collect the parts for an AAN rebuild.
the new engine from early UrS4 with paper based Headgasket
is now having some problem.the coolant disappeared when spirit
driving.last night it lost 1L of coolant after pushed a few time 30psi
of boost on GT2871.i have submerged a spared AAN block with molasses
for 3-4 months awaiting to reincarnate again.i think now it's time.
I have a ported&polished AAN head but need to send to machine shop
to regrind the valve seats and checking for any plays on its guides.
i actually replaced those bits 8years ago and kept the head on the shelf
since then.the deck of the block has some small pitches.the block was
taken from a donor without history.any guys know where to get those
parts bit for an overhauled job.i need big end,con rod bearings,ringset,valve
stem seals,guides and some seals,o-ring bits. where's the good source for those parts?Is it too difficult to do it w/o the 360degree engine stand ?can i do anything
on the workshop table?
