garrett gtx3576r ar .82 vs ar 1.06 Undivided

    motor spec:

    2.2 (stock crank)
    high lift cams
    je's 82.5mm (8.5:1)
    furans intake
    peter-g exhaust manifold
rs4 lifters and stronger valve spings

what hotside would work the best for this motor?
or is an gtx3582r with an .82 hotside work better?

like to hear from you guys

    .82

CR is a bit high to extract full power without some kind of WMI, race fuel or E85.
You will start hitting a wall at 550hp.

.63 is not a good idea.

I was given that option of the 0.63 if I wanted to just go over 500. But definitely won't take full advantage of the turbo. Personally I wouldn't care as I like faster spooling rather than high rpm driving

tought the cr was just fine. it needs more like 8.0:1???

can i use a double gasket to fix this?
or what is te best way to do it wouthout buying an new set of pistons.

in germany i can get regular fuel with an 102 octane doesnt that do the job on cr8.5:1

              is that bhp or whp?

is good pump fuel that bad over there?
I would have thought 8.5:1 would be fine

                More like 8.0:1 is needed.

That's crank hp. You don't hit a wall at 550, you start hitting a wall.
It is very difficult to get more than 650hp on pump fuel, definitely not with a 8.5:1 CR.

Our fuel and especially UK fuel is much better than in the US.

'Standard' unleaded is 95 RON over here, 'Super Unleaded' can be as much as 105 when tested, but I think it pertains to be ~98-100 on the sticker.

Because of crazy backpressure and high EGT.
600hp you will most definitely not get with .63, even 550hp will be a struggle.

The only person I have seen get good results on an I5 with a 35r and 63 hotside is Hapster and to this day I have no idea how they did it

I have also read the 0.63 ar housing doesn't work well with the gr35 turbine.
