..any way one of the seals on the injector tip is a little hard up is this tip seal important if so does anyone have a spare
My friend Kate, the friendly parts girl, who is in at work on this lovely Saturday says Item 20 below, PN 035906149A, is the one you are looking for and that the O-ring seal size is 7.52 x 3.53. She says that they are about 2 GBP a pop in her system. According to a recent boost leak thread, those seals are available for 10 for about 6 GBP in the aftermarket.
Boost leaks can also occur through cracked injector inserts. Here is a link to a post I did about replacing and sealing these injector inserts on an AAN:

No. 12 is the insert that goes in the inlet manifold, you want a pintle cap. I don't think Audi sell them seperatly, you'd have to go to a Bosch dealer or fuel injection specialist.
