    Is this normal?

    my turboreadings are as folllows.
About 2000 rpm 0,5 bar and it goes smoothly up to 1 bar at 3000 rpm.
    Is this normal?
Ive had an cosworth were the boost got all the way up to max boost in a blink.
I feel like im waiting for the last push from the turbo. it raises slow (I think)
Maybe it should be like this.

The car is an 91 s2 with MTM stage 1

Well i think it should go upto 1.4bar then if it has that chip.
    Check for boost leaks.

No. 3B MTM stg 1 is for 200kpa MAP so around 0.9-0.95 bar, perhaps slight peaks over that. It's the 262 hp version and AFAIK came with exhaust back box.
It has no over boost protection, perhaps just because the peaks. My friend's car had this and I think it was the real thing as it has the back box and the previous German registration data was 192kW.
Even the stage 2 MTM chip with 250kpa won't boost 1.4. But anyway this will give plenty of more ~3000rpm torque compared to stg1.

The reason for slow boost build up could be a leak or a leaky DV. or or or or...

i have pressurised the system and can`t find any leaks. It is very stable sitting at 1 bar, no peaking at all. it is just that it comes fast up to 0.5 bar and slow from there. I belive that all the boost should come at the same time not in 2 stages.
