I had a similar issue on mine a few years ago when i fitted NGKs and didnt run right. I ended up putting the bosch plugs back in. i had fairly new coils and coil boots. I wondered if it could be the map but didnt get to bottom of it

      Any news?

I have fitted brand new BKR7E on my 3B@7200 and have huge misfire under boost over 1,6 bar. Will check gap them tomorrow, but I think they're simply crap.

      Will get PFR7Q soon

interesting comments as i've had huge misfires when planting the boot down on my s6. it almost never happens if you control the amount of throttle you give the engine, but if you go for broke on full throttle it does it most times. like those above, i fitted these ngk plugs when i bought the car a few months ago. can't recall whether it did this prior to fitting the plugs or not . .

I found mine didn't run well with the factory equivalents to the Bosch plugs too, I can't comment on the other ngks though

I ran both sets of plugs on my S6 with no issues, the car ran on LPG which can be really funny about ignition. I ran 1.8T coilpacks, as there was always slight holding back with the original coils.
Is it ok at idle? Could maybe swap the old plugs out one at a time, just a bad plug?

the one currently on my car is the 2nd set of 9EIX.the first set was always soaked with the motor oil from a bad valve guides and still hit 2bar of boost.i normally regapped them a bit before installation.I have ls2 coils though FYI.

The car was hitting 1.9 with no problems on the old plugs.
I am going to replace them and see if its the plugs. I checked them all out of the box and they were all ok. Anyone with any ideas, it would be much appreciated.
Sorry, just wanted to know if you ever got to the bottom of this misfire ?

                  Thanks either way.

I've had the Bosch plugs in since replacing those NGK ones and never had a problem - it pulls strong and fast without a hiccup - every time.
