    URS4 fuel line replacement

So I have MOT coming up in month time, and I don't think I will get through with fuel lines I have now. So I did a quick search on forum, and noticed there is a choice of rubber, copper and stainless steel pipes...I am intending of making them, as genuine stuff probably costs a fortune.

So, which material should I use, I don't want to change them after couple of years.

How about connectors? I've found several online, but would be nice to hear from someone who has done it, and can tell me what sort of stuff is best. And what sort of connectors do I use if I go rubber fuel line route?

    Thanks in advance.

If you go copper then any flaring tool from ebay. If stainless - you will need "bigger" tools to make flares as metal is harder to bend.

Did mine on the S2 with Cu-Ni but my "Ebay" flaring tool couldn´t do the flares in this material either. Had to take the pipes to a shop to get the flares done. Bending was no problem though.

I am looking at this tool, somehow seems more durable.

Can i get the connectors grom B&Q for instance? As i have garage space for Sunday, they won't arrive on time if i order online.

              Thanks

how about connectors then, because I looked at those WADE connectors, but they can only be bought online and they won't arrive in time. Can I use the old connectors if they're in good nick? Thanks

You can buy the wade connectors in B&Q or any plumbing outfit. Its a popular size.

I didn't know B&Q carried them, that's very handy to know.
