    Girdled Engine To O1e

Ok ive got a AAN with a girdled engine which has lowered the sump by thickness of the girdle thus making the sump to bellhousing bolts a no fit
So what have others been doing to solve this???
    Or do nothing??
    thanks

i have NEVER run the three bolts from trans to oilpan (sump) in my drag car.

it is >900 AWHP, has >620 ft lb or Torque, and runs >167 mph in the 1/4 mile with 2.2 seconds 0-60 mph and sees >47 psi )(~429+ kpa) Boost.

i run my motor to 01E bellhousing with 4 bolts and the one single bolt from the starter and have NEVER had a problem with this interface.

if it were ME, i would skip them altogether. but thats just me.

They are left out when running a girdle.

dont runthe bolts they are only there to reduce harmonics and prevent exh manifolds from cracking. add a swivelling support to the turbo and problem solved

Same here, I have never run those bolts. Less to take to bits when pulling a gearbox as well.
