    RS2 Cam Chain Issue

    Hi,

Can someone confirm if this is normal?
May I have problem on my cam chain?

My car have low idle, high consumption and no boost. I have already checked the fuel line and temperature sensors. My next steps are:
    - Cam timming
    - MAF (it is a brand new one... Bought directly from Audi dealer... May it came with problem?)

    Regards,

    RP

mine is not loose at all. This must be from a VW engine. When I ordered mine they gave me one that was a bit longer than original. When I pointed that out I got the right one.

Did you get your MAF from an Audi dealer in Brazil? How much do you have to pay if you don't mind me asking. They are no longer available in the UK

          Hi Cottis,

I got at an Audi Dealer in Germany.
So, only for your known, I asked today for a quotation here in a Brazilian Audi Dealer...
A new MAF costs about 1.450 USD.
The Cam Chain... about 390 USD...

There is no way to keep an Audi buying spare parts in Brazil.. Usualy we need to import every part.
You can import, pay all customs and get a cheeper part than buying in a Audi Dealer here.

Talking about the Chain... Actualy I will need a new one.
Any one knows a interchange partnumber in another dealer? Like BMW, Citroen, Volvo,...

          Cheers,
