    what is the time for standard 3B 0-100km/h

    according to my owners manual it says 6.1 seconds, but on S2 central there is a page that differs between early (3b?) and late (ABY?) models and the early is said to be 0-100 in 5.7 and the late model in 6.1 second.

    So what's correct for the 3B, and what time do all you guys with super tweaked engines get?

    link to the S2central page i was referring to

    Tom's "Mildly" tuned S2 last year done 4.4 i believe 0-60 and has had a little bit of work done since to improve on this.

    i would have thought you would need a v gd launch to get them times on a standard car

      6.2 is the official figure IIRC.

      60mph is not 100km/h.

          100 km/=62 mph i think or 60 mph is 98km/h

          I am 100% percent sure that my official owners manual says 6.1 to 100/62 but not sure if that's for the ABY or 3B.

          It does howewer mention 162KW which equals 220bhp, and that would mean the 3B is 6.1 to 100 km/h.

          5.7 does sound alot better though

          oh well, hoping to get a new chip and some 270-280 bhp out of this, or so i have been told. What would the app. time be then

            You can find the data on rsmodels.net

            3B = 6,1 0-100; 26,7 0-200
            ABY = 5,9 0-100

            However I think the figures is a bit missleading as 100 kpm is excatly what I get i 2nd gear, only needing one gearshift 0-100 probably save 0,5-1 second?

              the fun continous, according to the rsmodels.net the 3B weighs 1495kg unladen.

              My owners manual says 1420, big difference i think.

              maybe Audi did not know what they were buildning :-)

                I have an 3b with MTM stage 1(+38 hp ) and i got 0-100km/h 6 sec flat with a little wheelspin on 1 gear. I believe that the official standing 6,1 are not an easy task to do

                  I have tested it a few times with my gtech pro competition, my car is a standard 3b except from an ITG airfilter. I always get figures between 5.8 and 6 seconds.

                    Actually 1420/1480 I think and the difference is no aircon/aircon.
