how to access starter motor bolts??

Hi. I was going to attempt to remove starter today as its clicking and doing nowt. So I can get at the lower 17 bolt but how do you get at the hidden one? I have smallish hads and theres no chance I could grt in there. If you get it out getting it back in must be horrific!? Any advice please.

I know im full of questions at the minute but I guess thats what the forums are for, and im relatively new to the scene

Either on your back looking up, or remove the battery and the small panel in the tray and go down from up top.

At least, on the N. American cars.

battery is inside cab on mine. I was lying on my back, its really really tight () and i was working blind on top nut. you cant access it from above I dont think
