Guide to replace ABY ECU maps

    Hi,

Can anyone supply a guide to replacing the maps on an ABY ECU? I'm aware the originals are soldered in, and I already have the ECU removed. A bit of guidance on opening the casing and any tips would be useful before I get stuck in

    Cheers

    1. Bend metal flaps straight with a flat screwdriver or pair of needle node pliers. Be prepared to snap a few after doing this several times.
    2. Remove torx screws.
    3. Slide off metal cover to reveal the boards.
    4. Separate the 2 plastic pin clips by pulling apart carefully.
    5. The next bit is a bit tricky until you've sussed it - but you need to separate the 2 boards by pressing in the 2 tabs on either side of the pins where the connector is with a flat blade screwdriver then pushing the top board down out to separate and open the boards like a book.

I'm certain there'll be a good guide somewhere with photos, but not got time to find it for you just now.

Cheers for the help guys, have just split the ECU and it's ready for soldering.

To help anyone else going through this process, this guide was also very helpful
