    Adjusting injector size in Motronic

    Hi guys,

I've got a S6 ABT with RS2 setup and Bosch 440 cc at 3 bar injectors running with 2,5/3 bar FPR. Chip is Revo SMS S. As mine engine is 2000 cc and the injectors are a bit bigger than the RS2 OEM ones car runs very rich under WOT. I get 9 AFP after 5000 RPM at full boost on 4-th gear. I know that injector size can be adjusted in Motronic with 1 coefficient. Does anyone can help me how to adjust it?

    Thanks,

    Tsvetomir

prj knows what to do but he very likely won't tell you. However, for $$ he might supply you with a proper chip set for your situation.

However, the main question is why are you running 440 cc injectors in the first place? That is not how ABT supplied the engine OR what SMS wrote the chip set for. You don't mention what turbo you are running.

I'm running K24-7200, RS2 ECU, RS2 EM, RS2 MAF, AAN cams and Bosch 440 cc at 3 bar injectors. SMS REVO S chip is for K26/K27 turbo. I have Tomas Schmatt RS2 chips and JN-Tuning RS2 chips but SMS one is the best of the three. Great in all the rev range. So i just want to adjust the amount of fuel it supplies when not running in lambda state. I know that there is a constant in the Engine map on the motronic that has to be adjusted percent wise to cure that. I know that prj might help me but i don't need a chip, only to tweak a bit the injector constant to bring the AFR to 11.5, which is desired on for the SMS chip.

If it were that simple forum member would have been doing it years ago themselves. you need new chips regardless as you can't make OBD the S2 ecu, every change requires a rewrite and reburn of the chips AFAIK.

I have no problem editing the maps on the motronic and writing them back on the chip. But this i can do only on the maps that i know...so far have done a custom ignition map for LPG and the car runs on it.
