    RS2 Intercooler

Well it finaly gave up. When I bought the car, obviously previos owner did not take good care of car, cause after inspecting the car I found that IC was damaged fron front crank pully impact and that was due ti fact that fron snub mount was almost totaly destroyed.

I pressure tested the system and 2,5 years ago was still holding 1,5 bar pressure. However after my trip last month to Sweiz, i noticed that it did not run well. Boost was there (1,4 bar) but somohow I thought that it falls off too quckly. I pressure tested the system again last week and found that IC gave up at damaged area.

I think my best option is Wagner, would you guys agree?

        Appreciate the opinions .

When considering the price of used original RS2 IC, I think it is good way to go.

I also found a leak on my ISV (back side where connector is) and around fuel injectors, need to change seals on them. I think I need to collect everything and to it at once.

Or just exchange the core on the original!

Getting a new core welded in will be the cheapest option

Guys do you have a contact for a core? and what size would you fit?

I have a similar problem but the nearest core size available in SA IS 550X220X65 OR 450X220X70

Had it done to the aux rad but not an intercooler by readyrads in the UK, same principle. The above damage can also be due to worn engine / gearbox mounts as well as the snub.
